1970s Italian Chrome & Black Leatherette Cantilever Chair

A stylish Italian cantilever chair dating from the 1970s.

The chair has a sculptural tubular chrome frame supporting a suspended black leatherette seat and back, giving it a light and distinctive floating appearance. The curved chrome frame forms the arms and cantilevered base, while the open section at the top of the back adds an attractive design detail.

A comfortable and unusual piece of 1970s Italian design, ideal as an occasional, desk or statement chair.

The chair retains its original black leatherette upholstery and chrome finish. It remains in good original vintage condition with signs of age and use, including wear around the edges of the upholstery and some marking and surface wear to the chrome. We have deliberately left these areas untouched and they are shown clearly in the photographs.
