Liberty & Co. Arts and Crafts Mahogany Hexagonal Occasional Table

A fine English Arts and Crafts hexagonal occasional table in solid mahogany, of a design retailed by Liberty & Co. around 1900.

The beautifully figured moulded top is raised on six square tapering legs, joined by distinctive pierced geometric stretchers and terminating in shaped pad feet.

The elegant proportions, restrained decoration and unusual geometric detailing are characteristic of Liberty furniture from this period.

A particularly attractive and versatile table, suitable for use as a centre table, hall table or occasional table.

Presented in very good antique condition, with only minor wear consistent with its age and use.
